I just wanted to say a massive thank you for giving my son the opportunity to perform at the Summer Recital.
You have no idea how much it means to us to see him shine on stage like that and it’s hard to put into words how grateful we are to you.
My son’s journey in school has not been an easy one and so often the spotlight has been on him for the wrong reasons. For us to see him doing something so positive and performing so well, it was just amazing.
Playing on stage has been a huge confidence boost and so good for his self esteem. I don’t know how you do it but you have a very special way of bringing the best out of teenage boys who are not always easy to deal with.
Sunday’s show was incredible, the talent, the organisation, the supportive and positive atmosphere you all created – simply amazing.
As a teacher myself I have some understanding of the work that goes on for days and weeks beforehand not to mention the energy that was needed on the day itself to keep the show on the road. I don’t know how you do it and I am sure you must have been exhausted after it.
Know that it was worth it all, to see all those teenagers perform their hearts out on stage and you did something really special for our son, and indeed our family.
